15 good things
We’re strong believers in karma here at bluesky. We’re grateful to everyone that helped us to reach our 15th birthday last year, so in return we’ve pledged to do at least 15 good things for others. Here’s where we’re up to.

Good thing Nº1
Miranda has pledged to only buy pre-loved and recycled all year.
Good thing Nº2
Ipswich Town & Waterfront, a business promoting local businesses and communities, had exhibition space but nothing to fill it – bluesky to the rescue: we created a pop-up stand that could be used again and again – gratis.
Good thing Nº3
Donating creative to a very worthy cause, bluesky created concepts and materials to help Style and Sophistication with their charity Masquerade Ball, raising money for our local hospice.
Good thing Nº4
In the words of Henry Ford “Anyone who stops learning is old… Anyone who keeps learning stays young.” At bluesky we see the opportunities that we’re giving to school and college students to gain work experience as a win-win situation – they learn from us and we certainly look forward to their ideas too! This summer we’re hosting four students and welcome every one.
Good thing Nº5
Good things are not necessarily one-off actions – that’s why, at bluesky, we give all of our team members the opportunity to home-work one day a week – saving on fuel keeps us all just that little bit greener. We’re always looking for new opportunities to help the planet and welcome any suggestions from staff or clients.
Good thing Nº6
We’re currently working with an amazing charity to highlight the issue of child sexual abuse: creating posters to help raise awareness and donations to such a worthwhile cause.
Good thing Nº7
Working with a partner company, we’re creating a new website for a local charity that provides sport, health improvement and eduction activities for children and young people that may not otherwise have access … more details as we progress.
Good thing Nº8
Always keen to make a difference to our community, this year we’ve also given work experience opportunities to local young people, we’ve sponsored a performing arts award at Suffolk New College and we’ve joined Trading for good: it’s all about doing business in as social responsible a way as possible.
Good thing Nº9
Our red nose day efforts involved glow-sticks and lycra! Donna, Miranda and Surrey took part in a charity ‘Clubercise’ event locally; an hour’s worth of cutting shapes in a nightclub to top toons, covered in luminous body paint and shaking their thang – well, it’s got to be fun too – right?!
Good thing Nº10
