bluesky helps in North Pole quest
Super-fit bluesky client James Sinclair, Principal of Finborough School, is running the North Pole Marathon this April for the Wooden Spoon charity to fund local projects for disadvantaged children and young people.
news / Feb 12
Known as ‘the world’s coolest marathon’, James will be following in the footsteps of the likes of Polar Explorer Sir Ranulph Fiennes and competing in temperatures of -20C to -30C. This is certainly not for the faint hearted.
While James is pounding the pavement week in, week out, the least us blueskyers can do from the comfort of our warm, cosy offices is help to promote his local campaign to raise as much money as possible for this worthy cause.
Anna Attridge, Project Manager for the campaign is looking forward to getting involved in promoting something a bit different,
“There are so many marathon stories released every week but the North Pole Marathon does take some beating – it’s such an extreme challenge and even more so for James as he’s never run any kind of marathon before! We’re hoping to get some great training photos and to call in a few favours from James’ professional rugby past to help raise the profile further. Watch this space.” If you’d like to keep abreast of James’ progress or to donate towards his cause click here.
Good Luck James!
