With a major building programme that will see many more new purpose-built care homes opening over the next five years, Care UK needed an agency that can work creatively at a pace, respond quickly to changing needs and tight budgets and help to mould the company’s ambitious vision for the future. Sian McLaren at Care UK had first hand experience of bluesky and knew they fitted the bill perfectly,
“Having worked at bluesky as a Project Manager before I travelled to AustraliaI knew immediately that they were the right agency to help Care UK.
I know exactly how they think things through and how they work; providing great creative and ‘extra mile’ service at exceptionally realistic prices. It’s great to be working with the team again – from the other side of the fence!”
A focus of the work will include promoting Care UK’s speciality in dementia care; a condition now affecting 820,000 people, costing the UK economy £23 billion per year. According to The Alzheimer’s Research Trust’s Dementia 2010 report, for every £1 million in health and social care costs for the disease, £129,269 is spent on cancer research and just £4,882 on dementia research.
