When worksurfaces manufacturer Wilsonart said they wanted the K&B market to take a fresh look at them – a fresh new look is exactly what we created for their 2015 campaign launching this month.
In an industry where the product itself is almost a commodity, brand differentiation is crucial. We set out to give Wilsonart a look and feel that would really stand out from the crowd and appeal to their design-savvy target audience – the kitchen and bathroom retailers and designers.
With most manufacturers all having access to the same or similar surface designs and decors, rather than focusing on imagery of the worksurfaces themselves, we wanted to reinforce Wilsonart’s forward-thinking, innovative side.
We’ve developed a different, striking pattern to represent each of Wilsonart’s worksurface ranges from their Synergii designer and high-performance Aeon laminates to their Gemstone and Earthstone solid surface ranges.
The range-specific patterns will feature across all promotional material including advertising, newly designed brochures, showroom display stands and swatch books.
Donna Brown, Director on the account explains,
“The idea of the patterns is to make them instantly recognisable as Wilsonart, so positioning the brand as modern, design-led and in tune with their market. Patterns like this are trending in many sectors at the moment including related home decor areas such as wall and floor coverings. Therefore we’re expecting it to have high appeal and grab the attention and interest of kitchen, bathroom and interior designers.”
